The Gemera is the first four-seater car built by Koenigsegg and the first to be powered by a compact engine. Power comes from a 2.0 litre Koenigsegg Tiny Friendly Giant (TFG) three-cylinder twin-turbocharged camless piston engine driving the front wheels, rated at 608 PS (447 kW; 600 hp) and 600 N⋅m (443 lb⋅ft) of torque, as well as three electric motors (two at the rear and one at the front), with a combined peak output of 1,700 PS (1,250 kW; 1,677 hp) and 3,500 N⋅m (2,581.46 lb⋅ft) of torque.
Being the first all-wheel-drive model, the Gemera has all-wheel steering and torque vectoring.
In line with other Koenigsegg models, the chassis has a carbon fibre monocoque with aluminium sub-structures. The car features electronically adjustable ride height.
